Lifetime Ace Flyer Teeter-Totter Review
This teeter-totter airplane has been in my backyard from a little over 10 years now. It has witnessed severe storms, sun exposure, and of course many, many hours of play by all of my kids, their friends, grandparents, and myself. Here are a few of the pros and cons of this product.
Pros –
- The product is made up of high quality material that has lasted over 10 years now.
- The airplane can fit seven riders, three down the middle and four on the wings of the plane.
- The plane is built for imagination. I have ridden on this plane with my kids and traveled to many places around the world in beyond using our imaginations right from our own backyard.
- The airplane is sturdy and holds up to 600 pounds.
- On the back seat of the plane there is a diagram that labels the parts of plane, making the plane a learning opportunity for children.
- It is easy enough to move around the yard when you need to mow.
Cons –
- Some of the color has faded off the steering wheel, dashboard, and propeller from years of sun exposure.
- This product only comes in the 2 color choices (Earthtone or Primary). If you do not like these colors, this could be inconvenient.
- Children who are very young and have not learned all of their balance may have some difficulties climbing aboard the airplane and may stumble into the hard steel.
- After one severe storm the propeller did come off, but it was very simple to reattach as it was not damaged at all. So really more of a pro than a con that it has been through lots of storms over the years and has remained undamaged.
My Recomendation:
After having this teeter-totter for over 10 years, I would definitely recommend the Lifetime Ace Flyer Teeter-Totter to anybody who wants to add a product that help bring imagination and play to their backyard. This product is for families who love to travel and dream of travel when they are not traveling. Hope this review helps you decide if this product is for you and your family.
